Libre Writer cannot erase original text continuously with track changes on

As the title suggests, there seems to be a bug in Writer wherein I cannot delete a bunch of text by long-pressing the backspace key while track changes is on. This issue only occurs while I am deleting original text (i.e., text entered prior to enabling track changes) with track changes enabled.

Here’s a link to a video demonstration of this issue (sound on): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQnsr2C4xTs

I have Libre 7.0.1.2 on macOS Catalina. I have not investigated this bug on Windows or Linux.

Problem seems to be introduced in 6.4.x. No problem in 6.3.

As a workaround you can select backwards and then backspace to delete. Shift+back arrow selects letter at a time, Ctrl+Shift+back arrow will select word at a time. Cheers, Al

Yeah, it is a bug 135260
