Hoping someone can help me out with this--

I'm editing a .docx file on Version: 4.1.3.2.

For some reason, when I delete comments, save the file, and then open the file again, the comments are still there. I can't get rid of them!

Anyone have any ideas as to what is going on?

Thanks!

I just tried this on a Lunux Mint 16 Cinnamon setup with the same version of LibreOffice as you. I created a document, saved it in MS .Docx format. Reopened and added a comment. Saved, Reopened and deleted the comment, Saved file, closed and reopened. And the comment was gone.

Do you have Change tracking turned on? If so you are seeing the changes made. If not, then sorry I cannot say why this is happening to your setup as it does not on mine.

Hello.

Same thing is happening to me with an .odt document.

I am deleting comments, but each time I save the file and open it again, they are back.

Now, I am not sure why. I wanted to add as an attachment to this message the file so others can test it, but after deleting parts of the document that are confidential, now deleting the comments does work !

I use LO 4.2.6.3.

Can be Bug 105485 - With track changes enabled, deleted comments persist in DOCX format - if that DOCX has tracked changes.
