Calc v.7.0.2.2 cell AutoCalculate not working while window has focus

Installed LO7 (currently at 7.0.2_rc2-0ubuntu0.20.04.2) via LibreOffice PPA on Ubuntu 20.04.

  • When I start a new spreadsheet in Calc, and fill in the following in cells A1-A3:
A1: 1
A2: =A1+1
A3: =A1-1

A2 is calculated as 2

A3 is calculated as 0

  • Now I change A1 to 2 and press enter:

A2 is autocalculated to 3

A3 remains at 0 (!)

  • Now for the fun part - switch to a different application so LO window loses focus:

A3 is now autocalculated to 1.

Another part in the never ending story of AutoCalculate misbehaving, or is it just me?

hello @igadget,
no repro with win7:
Version: 7.1.0.0.alpha0+ (x64)
Build ID: c064766901722082df0d759c95434c1460fcdba5
CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 6.1 Service Pack 1 Build 7601; UI render: default; VCL: win
Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: en-US
Calc: CL
but you are right, an unreliable autocalculate is absolutely nasty, and calc’s is not reliable!

I am experiencing the same issue on Windows for ref. Do we have an eta for the fix? Should I go back to the stable version?

will be fixed by 7.0.3 https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=137248
