Calc is not copying data correctly with AutoFilter

The data in my Calc spreadsheet applies AutoFilter. If you copy data immediately after opening the table, then all data in the range is copied (this is wrong). If you delete or change the filter and then copy the selection, then only the selection is copied (as it should be). Why does the application work incorrectly with the filter after opening?

Version: 7.0.1.2 (x64)
Build ID: 7cbcfc562f6eb6708b5ff7d7397325de9e764452
CPU threads: 4; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19041; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: ru-RU (ru_RU); ИП: ru-RU
Calc: threaded

No problem seen in LibreOffice 6.3.6.2 (x86); OS: Windows 6.1.

Try with another file to see if the same thing happens.

@Frants, Edit your question and add a Enter before the three hyphens. This will fix the font size. Thanks.

Forgot to clarify something! The original table in XLSX format.
If the table is saved as an ODS, it works fine…

So, save in .ods format.

Yes, but that doesn’t fix the error …

@Frants,
hi, thanks for spotting this exotic bug, repro with ver. 7.1 from today, see … comments don’t accept attachments? :frowning:
would you like to file a bug report about it in - lo bug-tracker - , could help to improve calc …

Excuse me, I’m not a very experienced user. Which file to send, and how?

I roughly figure out what and how, created and sent a table file and a report.

just go to the linked site, register and login, and submit a new bug …

Thanks! Yes, I did that.

and then mention the bug number here, to share info with others …

Bug number fdo#137519

@Frants, thanks, looked there and found plenty duplicates and already a ‘metabug’ for it, ashes on my head, next time i will try to remember to advise first! to do a search there,
things which are aged and matured that long in calc have only small chance for improvements in near future … :frowning:
try to learn to live with it, fortunately *.ods format works better, be careful with filtered ranges off from A1-B2-C3… they have a special issue …
