Cloning text fields

I’m attempting to duplicate a feature of Acrobat where I can enter two text boxes, name them the same and their contents are cloned. Enter text in one and it appears in the other as well. Is there a feature like this in Libre?
I’ve tried various instructions in Help, but the application doesn’t necessarily follow the help file directions.

Acrobat help: To get the information to repeat across your form, you need to create form fields with exactly the same name. This way, the recipient of your form will only need to fill the information out once, and the rest of the fields with the same names are completed automatically.

There are some possibilities for getting a cloned content of a “text field”.
I recommend the label wizard … (choose) SYNCHRONIZE and contents of the (master) label can be replicated in one ore more other labels. The labels are frames and their entire content consists of sections which can be cloned.

Check help about sections and label wizard.- Cheers

EDIT
See some more information in the comment.

I just learned something new. Thanks. But is it applicable to a multipage document? In that case, wouldn’t it be more convenient to insert variable fields?

Yes, it is. You have to move or copy the frame(s) which includes the “child” sections. Note: There is a difference between OpenOffice (frames are anchored as characters) and LibreOffice (frames are anchored to page which is more cumbersome for editing).
My advice to create the file with the help of label wizard is that you can get the control button SYNCHRONIZE for refreshing which is very helpful and convenient.

See an overview here (German language): Text wiederholen, Text mehrfach, Text automatisch - OpenOffice.info
It always depends on the specific purpose.

Thanks, again.
