Memory settings for headless- same as in gui or not?

Hi,

My goal is to increase memory for headless mode to speed up .odt to .pdf conversion. I see in GUi there are settings at Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Memory, changing these is reflected in config file registrymodifications.xcu, that is these settings are stored in that file. By use of that, memory settings can be changed without GUI.

So far so good, but the question is- are these settings valid for GUI only, or will they work for headless mode? Are the settings for video memory only or not?

These settings only relate to the handling of graphics objects as indicated on the help page. I would think they are the same for GUI and headless modes (that is the registry settings are read and applied as required) however I cannot confirm this.

Does it mean one can expect faster file conversion in headless mode, when memory limits are increased?

Unlikely, unless the file in question is causing RAM usage to spike to a significant level during the conversion.
