LibreOffice 7 icons in menus

Hi folks,

Is it still possible to enable icons in menus as in previous versions? I do not understand why this possibility disappeared from Options → LibreOffice → Views.

Icons in menus are very useful in quick orientation.

I have LibreOffice 7.0.3.1 @ Fedora/Gnome (Linux)

Thank you

EDIT:

I enclose the discussion from Gnome forum: https://discourse.gnome.org/t/principe-of-icons-in-menus/4803

But as usual: If you don’t like a special free and open source software your only remedy is: Don’t use it (in your case: switch to KDE or at least install KDE Framework Libraries and use LibreOffice in conjunction with the KDE Framework; which is a setup working on my Fedora 33 test system).

Hello,

LibreOffice 7.0.3.1 @ Fedora/Gnome (Linux)

This is not a decision of LibreOffice but of GNOME. You are using GNOME as your desktop manager and UI Designers of GNOME decided to not show icons in menus by default (if at all). Consult GNOME manual, whether there is a GNOME tweak to enable icons in menus.
