why can’t i cut a paste pictures on a single page? in trying to do so an other picture keeps taking its place?
How are the details related to the title of your question?
I am assuming Writer; if I’m wrong give more details.
If your first picture is still selected when you paste a second picture, the new picture will replace it, just like with text.
If the pictures are stacked on top of each other, you can drag them into position, or you could anchor them As Character (this can be a good option if you are getting confused with which picture is where). Another possibility is to right-click on each image, select Properties, and in the tab labelled Wrap, untick the box that says allow overlap
Happily, Styles are already set up. All you need to do is to modify them; you can also modify them differently for different templates. Your question is so wide that I would suggest reading chapter 9 of the Writer Guide 6.4 linked on the Documentation page Cheers, Al
