The context menu to create new documents after cliking right mouse isnt working in the new (4.1.4.2 and 4.2) version of LO.
I didn’t remember a version with the option for new documents in the context menu.
What you can do is click on the icon for new documents or if you want a different type on the arrow at right of the icon.
Maybe you have some extension installed in your previous versions.
There may be a problem with the recent builds of LO for Windows (which is 32bit) that affects context menus on 64bit versions of this OS. I commented on a similar issue for Win8 here, which was apparently resolved via an update to LO. This does however appear to be an old and ongoing issue, as indicated by bugs fdo#42661 and fdo#68163.
