I tried to re-install but the issue persists
Try setting View | Zoom to a reasonable value; perhaps start with 100% and adjust as necessary. My guess is that you have accidentally changed the zoom setting via the zoom slider on the status bar at the bottom of your LO window, indicated by the red arrow in the image below…

Thank You! That fixed it. But I don’t see anything on the bottom of the page with either the zoom or status information
Perhaps your status bar is hidden; see View | Status Bar.
