I frequently use spreadsheets to do placements of light switches in rooms. I like to use labeling such as “Room@Location” to specify where in a room something is located, like “Kitchen@Back Door.” Every time I use the @ symbol a mailto link is created. There has to be a way to turn this off.
Choose Tools - AutoCorrect Options… - Options tab, and uncheck URL recognition.
