Why are my Base Form Fields Overlapping?

I created a form for a video tutorial about LibreOffice Base
(it can be found at - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPZrFaVyvxc)

The problem is the Start Date and End Date were not properly sized and they were placed on top of the Phone Number. (I didn’t notice it at the time I was recording)

A viewer noticed this and asked me why this happened (because it was happening to him for a form he was creating)

Does anyone know sometimes LibreOffice fields overlap when creating a form?

Can you replicate this (apparently) buggy behaviour? Is this relevant? By all means post an answer yourself if you hit on a solution.

It happens when using the form creation wizard to make the form, especially where there are numerous fields, that positoining gets miscalculated, with regard to a default page size.

You can always correct this manually afterwards, by opening the form in design mode.
