Is there anyway to make it so that the page width will match the size of your libre writer window? Writer is not a screen composer but a document processor. Text and other illustrations are intended to be laid out in page(s) whose properties, among them sheet size, are defined in a page style.
If your goal is only to see your document content without the page restriction, View>Web. However, this will not modify the page style parameters. Also be aware then many formatting properties will not work as usual.

- You can do it with a keystroke (if you change window size quite frequently, maybe it could be handy to create a shortcut key to do that):
