how do I convert a wks document to doc
Please provide more details. What is a “wks document”? Have you tried anything?
Could be Microsoft Works or Lotus 123 or Symphony. I think LO will open 123 (under Open, change file type to Lotus 123 under spreadsheet section if LO doesn’t autodetect). I’m not sure about MS Works though. Not too much opens that other than Works. I confirm that LO opens 123 files of .wk1 – I think it was Lotus 123 v2 – 1991 or something. Under the file types in LO, wks is Works Spreadsheet, wps is Document.
Agree with Bencomp about knowing which program your file came from.
