LibO 7.0.4.2 icons don't show up

Linux Mint 20.0 Cinnamon

LibO Default installation: Version: 6.4.6.2
Build ID: 1:6.4.6-0ubuntu0.20.04.1
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.4; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3;
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI-Language: en-US
Calc: threaded

I installed parallel
Version: 7.0.4.2
Build ID: dcf040e67528d9187c66b2379df5ea4407429775
CPU threads: 4; OS: Linux 5.4; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US
Calc: threaded

I do these parallel installations always and on another machine with LibO 7.0.3 the problem reported here is NOT to be seen.

In version 7.0.4 (more details are above), estimated, less than 50% of the icons of LibO 6.4.6 (more details are above) are seen.

Is this a bug or is any quick countermeasure possible?

Thanks for helping replies in advance.

LibO 7.0.4.2 icons don’t show up

Where do these icons not show up? Do you mean application start menu → Office?

I read somewhere “create a new user profile”. Don’t recall where it was thus cannot credit the author for the correct hint. Nevertheless my gratitude for the helping comment.

I saved the not-working user profile with a separate name, re-started LibO, and then replaced the new user profile folder by folder with the old ones. Got all my icons and toolbar layouts etc, back.

The culprit was the registry file. Something there was not matching the 7.0.4 version.

Years ago I wrote this hint myself very often. But, because LibO is very stable and very good, I forgot a lot of the countermeasures should something happen.
