In Draw, is there a tool that allows to create a perspective for objects (several layers of a name, for instance, so it kinds of looks like a shadow), similar to CD? Thanks

I’m trying to create a logo that will have the name in bleu and then some sort of exterior shadows in red and white. I used tool perspective in CD. Is there something similar in Draw ?

Thanks a lot

You can try with menu Insert - Fontwork….

See LibreOffice Help on Fontwork For Graphical Text Art.

EDIT: A more elaborated approach:

  • Insert a Text Box (menu Insert)
  • Type your text
  • Choose menu Format - Character… and change Font, Style, Size, etc.
  • Choose menu Shape - Convert - To Curve
  • Choose menu Shape - Group - Ungroup
  • Choose menu Shape - Combine
  • Make a copy
  • Change size and color
  • Select both texts
  • Choose menu Shape - Cross-fadding…, OK

  • Choose menu Shape - Convert - To 3D
  • Secondary click on the object and choose 3D Effects
