Calc enter (line shift) shifts left cell instead of down

When hitting Enter in LibreOffice.org ver. 7.0.4.2

Then the result fills into the cell as normal, but instead of shifting cell position down to the cell below, it shifts to the cell position on the left.

This is a pain in the arse when you are used to that every iteration of LibreOffice you have had installed does shift the cell to the cell below.

Please fix, or place Settings in the software so you can choose which direction is the most beneficial to the user.

That choice is already there. From menu Tools->Options ( or LibreOffice > Preferences if on Mac - you don't state):
