I recently upgraded from 18.04 to 20.04. No problem I thought. Now I can’t connect to a MySQL database from Windows 10 & a Putty tunnel on two boxes.
Server: Ubuntu 20.04 & MySQL version 8.0.22-0ubuntu0.20.04.3
#1) Windows 10 & LibreOffice 7.0.3.1
#2) Windows 10 & OpenOffice 4.1.6
3#) I can still connect using a Windows 7 box, LibreOffice 6.3.6.2 & a Putty tunnel.
On box #1 I get the message ‘unknown database’
The data base is there because I can query it on box #3 and I can see it using WebMin.
What can I try?
