I am using LibreOffice and the file format is in .docx. The document is chapter wise. For example: Chapter 01 Chapter 02 ............

Now, Let's say, I have some images in Chapter 04 and I want a page break at the end of Chapter 03. So, I press Ctrl + Enter to do that.

The problem is whenever I do this, most of the images in Chapter 04 gets either broken or placed to another page with gap.

How do I get rid of this problem? It's so urgent.

When inserting pages with existing images, a problem usually arises when the images are not properly anchored.

Maybe this description will help you to find a solution:

If you work with LibreOffice use the ODF format for saving.

Basically:

Always create and save your files in LibreOffice and save them in ODF format (ODT, ODS, etc.). Always keep these files as their source. If you need other formats for distribution to partners, you can open an ODF file and save and distribute another format with ″ Save as… ″.

This way, you always have working files available in your system environment.

Create a 2-page sample file exhibiting the issue. Explain clearly in the text the problem (expected result). Attach this sample to your question so that we can check the anchor mode(s).

Attaching a document is done by editing your question (you can't attach to a comment) and using the paperclip tool. Don't use an answer which is reserved for solutions on this site.
