Hi I'm new to libre office, using the raspberry pi 400 and using libre office for my sons school work. We have down loaded documents from his school to work through. They are just to read through no actual input on the document, answers completed in a separate note book. The downloaded documents open automatic in libre office but some parts of the text are over lapping other parts of the text, like one text box question is in the middle of a list of maths questions . I have checked on my phone and tablet and this is not happening on those, they are separate . Is there a way to change this? Sorry again I'm not great on these things.

Which LibreOffice Version?

What kind of documents (doc, pdf, others)?

Hi they are labelled as docx, is that correct.

Complex formatting of docx is not always translated well in LibreOffice due to differences in the way text boxes are handled, amongst other things. You can rearrange the page and change wrap options but the school should use simple formatting as their target audience will use a variety of devices and programs. I'd be inclined to contact the school. Simple tables should cover much of their layout needs for question and answer documents and can generally be displayed the same in a wide variety of different programs on various operating systems
