How to increase form width beyond 8.5"?

I want to arrange controls on a form so that they are horizontally aligned and extend past the apparent Form width limit of 8.5". It’s easy to do in Access. Why is not possible in Base or at least certainly not readily apparent how that might be done. How would one create a Form on which the controls take up the full width of corresponding to a print landscape orientation?

Hello,

This may depend upon your OS. Have had another say from menu Format->Page Style then on Page tab set size. This does not work for me on Ubuntu 20.

For me, use the status bar. Lower right corner has the zoom control. Reduce this to get how large of an area wanted. Set a control on the limit(s) & return the zoom setting to normal. Scroll bar(s) now visible. Can start using to move around and place controls wherever.

In Windows OS, I don’t see the Zoom control you speak of. In Format, Page Style, Base would only let me set landscape in fixed 11 X 8.5" dimensions, which i couldn’t get it to do when I posted. But then I noticed on the right of the screen there is a set of five toolbar icons, one of which is Page. That brings up the same dialog that you get with Format, Page Style, Page, but for some reason there I was able to change not only width but height of the form.

Thanks for the inspiration!

@LW,

You don’t see the zoom because the status bar is most likely not on. Turn on from menu View->Status Bar. It is a toggle.
