Why ask.libreoffice is not available in language X? How can I help to create it?

Please retag to replace common with meta as this is not a question about LO usage but about the site itself.

Thanks! Probably it would be worth to add it to the Help as well

It is already written but I don’t remember where, perhaps in the TDF Wiki.

… and it is not common to use something like “[ask.libreoffice] Title”. Tagging is the means of this site to provided some kind of classification.

OK, thanks! I can’t edit it… Fixed now.

  1. The fact that the site is not available in many languages is, probably, due to the fact that nobody just took care to create respective sections.
  2. You can’t do anything. Of course, you can send a request (click give feedback in the bottom part), but it looks that requests are ignored. This site seems to be unmaintained.

Not at all! Give feedfack works works perfectly. I already got very good return from it.

I just sent the request - we’ll see.

Nothing came back so far.

Edit: Just got a reply - watch the space. There are some big changes in the pipeline.

I participated in the test at the beginning and was not enthusiastic about it (haven’t connected for quite a long time so things may have changed towards a more Q&A behaviour. I prefer the present Q&A aspect of AskLO even if newcomers don’t understand the principle and use it as a forum. Q&A urges you to be synthetic, you need not read everything to grasp the gist of question and selected answer. Sometimes a conversation in a forum is rather hard to follow)
