Folks, I use Libreoffice on a Mac, and it works.
Now I need to use it on an old PC, too, it’s a Windows 7 SP1, fresh setup.
So, I installed the current version, no errors, just fine.
Then I restarted Windows (you never know) and launched Writer - well, it crashes right away, no error message or anything. Same with all other parts of the suite.
What am I doing wrong?
You installed that version on your Windows pc? Seems a bad idea to me. By the way, please delete your answer, or add the text to your question. Answers are reserved for solutions for the problem in the original question. Now some people may think that your question has been answered already.
Well I downloaded the Windows version, 7.1 for Win 64bit.
Yes, it is 64bit.
