Spreadsheet file won't open. Help! [closed]

I was working on a spreadsheet when libreoffice stopped responding. I hadn't saved my work for the day yet so tried to save and close the program. It closed (I hoped it had saved but wasn't sure). The file is still there, but when I try to open it again it doesn't load. I get a blank screen and eventually the program stops responding again. Sod's law I was just about to print off a hard copy of the spreadsheet as I had been worried about losing the file for whatever reason. Please help!

  • OS and LibO version

  • file format you used

  • which keystrokes or mouse clicks did you use to save and open the file.
