Lost table formating at save/reopen

Hello
It happened to me already second time but I can not identify circumstances how/when and repeat the error so I do not know where it resides but after save of Writer doc and reopening the file all the formatting of all tables and first page format got lost.
The only info that remained was row/col count and content format but all table formatting such as col width, row height, background, alignement (H/V) - EVERYTHING got lost. Remained only even col spacing + row height 0 with self adjust.

Has/had anyone such experience?

• saved as ODT
• no Table Style
• I checked “Embed fonts used in document”. <— this was the cause of problems.

Does it happen when saved as .odt?

Have you created your tables with so-called “table styles”?

Have you embedded fonts in your document?

this reminds me to bug tdf#124470 Table settings and borders are not saved if checked “Embed fonts” and “Only embed fonts that are used”.

To check whether the bug applies to you, perform:

Deactivate/check File -> Properties -> Tab: Font -> Cat: Font embedding -> Option: Only embed fonts that are used in documents and test again.

Problem fixed in 6.4.7 and later.
