How to disable the selection at the save button in a toolbar?

Hi there,

is it possible to disabled the selection triangle next to the save button in a toolbar or the selection itself? I would like to limit the user access…

And how should this limit user access? It’s just about requiring annoying circumvention, if one needs/wants to store under another name (save, close, open file manager, rename file, open renamed file - just to bother users)

I don’t think that my reasons are important to answer the question in the first place. Nevermind. I just want a clean and simple “Save” functionaltity. No “Export…” or anything else.

replace button Save by Save Document using Tools -> Customize -> Tab: Toolbars

… You still need to remove the Save As buttons

What does “replace” tell you? Anyway - the whole thing is questionable.

The best way to do this is to edit the settings…

To me there is usually a better method lurking somewhere. For example, get rid of all menus and toolbars and insert new ones using macros. Then lock the macro with a password. It’s probable there are more methods better than this (maybe re-do the source).
