What application do i use to open libre in a mac?

i’ve downloaded libre, then it tells me to choose a file from my applications folder to open it with…sounds simple, but… i have a mac, where do i put libre so it can operate?

I hope you downloaded .dmg file. If so, then drag it to Applications folder and click on it.
