How do you arrange pictures, evenly spaced horizontally, in Writer? [closed]

Version: 4.1.3.2 Language: English Component: Writer OS: Windows 7 (English UK)

I am frequently putting differing sized pictures, usually just two, into Writer documents with no wrap only text before and after. I now need a simple way to space them equally, horizontally on the page. In Word you can select multiple pictures with by holding shift and then you can align them all horizontally. If anyone can help that would be great.

You can anchor the pictures as character and divide them with a space. Then you set the paragraph to alignment "justify" and in the paragraphs properties dialog set the "last line" drop-down list (tab Alignment) to kind "justify" too.
