Pasting Text Into Calc Pastes Wrong Text

Often when I try to paste text into Calc, it pastes the text that was previously in the clipboard rather the text that is currently in the clipboard. It’s very frustrating. I paste into Notepad, I get A, but when I paste into Calc I get B. It doesn’t matter how many times I copy A. Is this a bug or what and how can I work around it or fix?

I’m using Windows 7

Did you used some third party clipboard manager software when this happened?

For the record with 7.0 I experience that also, rather it pastes nothing at all. No clipboard application. Haven’t found any pattern yet.

A teeny-weeny bit of info about the operating system would help. My crystal ball is out of order. (Hint: the clipboard is managed by the OS).

No need of a crystal ball for Travis Gibby question since it’s clearly written that his OS is Windows 7. As for mine, I think I experienced that on Windows 10, not on my Xubuntu machine.

Even if the clipboard is managed by the OS, it doesn’t mean that LO has no trouble getting its content from the OS. Because there certainly is a problem somewhere between them both. And I only experienced that with AOO/LO, no other application ever.

Sometimes there can be a difference when using icon to copy and paste compared to Ctrl+C to copy and Ctrl+V to paste. Maybe try Context menu (right mouse click) for copy and paste.
