I note an item from the LibreOffice 6.4 manual on page 231, the Insert>Image dialog window brings me only a typical Apple files list from desktop, documents, and so forth with only a selection to open, (regardless of the file type), close, or cancel.
This is not the content rich example shown in the illustration (figure 230); most disturbing the referenced preview/link box are not there and whatever lies of the right side view in the figure. Normally I would let in pass, but as a beginning luser I know these small things can come back to bite you, so if there is a way I access what’s shown in the figure it would be good to know.
