Someone emailed me a Word document that I’m editing in Libre Office using trackable editing. How do I email it back with the trackable changes so that the person can open it in Word, see the changes I’ve made, and make their own changes?
When you finally save and close the document, keep Record Changes ON and fag Show (Edit > Changes > Show). This should trigger Word to show the changes. Next attach it to an email.
I would do a test using doc and docx format.
