I use index entries a lot. There is a way to locate the item tag directly using the navigator on the right and the forward and back arrows. For now I can only scroll through the entries and then I am forced to check the entries one by one.

Please edit your “question” to reword it. What are you looking for exactly? The Navigator has no provision to list index entries. Are you talking about the index dialog displayed with a right-click on an existing entry and Edit Index where there are effectively big black arrows?
