How do you change the font size of the x-axis labels in Calc?

I have made a pretty generic line graph in LibreOffice Calc. There are y-axis labels and x-axis labels. When I double on the x-axis labels a box appears where I can change the formatting. I click on the ‘Font’ tab and there is a section where I can change the font size. When I select a new font size and click OK, the font doesn’t actually change. Even if I select font size ‘96’, there is no change. Actually, even if I change the font family, nothing happens. What am I missing?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Can you upload your sample file here?

Hi Zizi64, while I was making the sample file for you, i was able to get it working! I guess I had some setting on the original graph that kept the font size from changing. I made a brand new graph and the font size changes without any issues! Thanks for the help! haha =)

You didn’t say which version of LO you are using. In at least some versions of LO, some edit changes in charts did not appear until after you left Edit mode for the chart. I have not noticed this behaviour recently but it is possible that your version still has this behaviour.

Made a brand new graph, font size changes as expected on the new graph
