After the last update LibreOffice Calc no longer works & no error codes. Will not open an existing file or even a new empty window. LibreOffice writer still works. Don’t know about any other of the suite programs.
This all started after last upgrade
I have deleted & reinstalled a couple of times but same problem.
I use Linux Ubuntu 20.04.2LTS on an older (+/- 5 year) HP Pro 3130 MT a 64 bit machine.

Probably a corrupt user account try this;
Start LO, under the help menu choose restart in safe mode. See if calc works then. If so good.
If that isnt it, I would be a little suspect of your harddrive might be failing on your system.

Just to avoid confusion - You mean: “Probably a corrupt LibreOffice user profile” - LibreOffice User Profile ?
Please note
If a problem is caused by a corrupt user profile, reinstalling LibreOffice won’t help at all, since this action won’t touch the user profile. Therefore: Before reinstalling check whether the user profile might be the cause of a problem.
To test whether LibreOffice user profile is causing the issue:
Help → Restart in Safe Mode and confirm the restart using button: Restart
Continue in Safe Mode
File → Open - do not use some other procedure)
