I am considering buying a Mac Mini M1, but I need to know if a distribution is available for download.
If you ask for distribution, I usually think of linux-distribution. Then your question would not be in the right forum, As to my knowledge, there is work on it, but it is far from anything to be recommended for non-developers. Google linux m1 mac for this.
LibreOffice is running on the M1 with MacOs,bbecause of the compatibility layer provided by apple.
There is also work on running directly on the Arm-Platform:
