PDF corrupted when opened in libre office/office draw

I need to combine pages of pdf, do some minor changes in text (viz. date, header, equation

number, etc)
Whenever I tried to open pdf file containing mathematics with Libre Office (Writer or Draw, or directly with Libre Office), my file gets fully corrupted.
Please suggest.
I am giving here the screenshots of the original file opened with pdf and that with libreoffice.

LibreOffice (Draw) is not a PDF editor (and PDF is an exchange format not designed to be edited).

Try “PDF24 Creator

Please upload or link a real pdf type sample file here. We can not examine it based on a screenshot.

Sir, you can find the real file here:

Plese adjust the access rights of the sample doc. I can not download it.

I often have to “integrate” some PDF files or parts of it in Writer files. In many cases I open single PDF pages in GIMP and edit them there (as a bitmap!).
Sometimes Inkscape or MasterPDF (free version) can import/convert the better way and I edit PDF files as text and/or curves.
All in all it is often pretty cumbersome to process PDF files on LibreOffice… - Cheers and good luck!

@Grantler
Sir, Thank you very much for the clarification. I will try this in Windows. After installing Ubuntu, uninstalled Adobe Acrobat from windows because its license was expired. But, I think I can never get rid of Windows.
Thanks again.

Sir Zizi64, you can now download the file. The access is now open. File

The equations will be converted well positioned labels, when the document will be converted into the pdf format. You can not edit them as “formulas”.

Try the hybrid PDF feature of the LO: You can save a combined PDF: what contains the ODF and the converted PDF version. The PDF readers open it as a pure PDF, but the LO can open it as an ODF document.

But nothing to do with the equations, when they was created in another office suite, and they was converted into “pure” PDF file format. Try to “edit” them as some specially positioned labels.
