How save documents over VPN?

I connect remotely to my office using OpenVPN GUI. How do I save documents in Office Writer and Spreadsheet directly to the office server to which my computer is connected? I am using a Lenovo Yoga Pro laptop running windows 8.1.

Please include all the steps in your answer as I am new to Libre and am very unfamiliar with the program.

From LibO’s point of view there is no difference in saving to a local hard disk or a server being place somewhere.

File > Save as > now it depends on your settings. In first attempt I would look for My Computer, click there, and then you must select the drive you want to save your files to.

I recommend to ask your IT administrator in your company.

Is there a way to direct LibO to always save to the path I specify that will save to my office network. Now the default save directory is the Documents directory on my C: drive. Using Save As I attempted to save to my office network by replacing the C: drive path with the path to the office network over the VPN, but the document was still saved in the local directory.

By the way, there is no IT administrator. This is a small office and my partner and I take care of everything. That is why new programs can sometimes be very confusing.
