Check for Updates shows %PERCENT%

Hi,

So I’ve noticed this happening every so often since the early versions (years ago) till this day.

Sometimes when I click on Help > Check for Updates, it gives me a static page with %PERCENT%. Even the “Checking…” and circle on the left side don’t move.

You’ll need to close the window and hit Check for Updates again, for it to work correctly / successfully.

I can’t find a specific trigger, it randomly happens.

Is there anyway I can report this as a bug?

Hmm, I don’t believe it may be related to the site going down for maintenance. It’s too random when it happens, and all it takes is to just try again a second later and it’ll work.

I would guess it is a short loss of network connection then. When the connection is resumed the dialog doesn’t refresh; it probably it should. There is a link on submitting bugs in Ask/Getting Started
