Numbers are read as labels

Ubuntu 20,04 LTS
LibreOffice 6,4,7,2

Calc and Writer they have an error on numerical keypad, entering a number with numerical full stop
it enters a comma as can be seen above.

Example:
123,45 Use numerical pad the full stop comes as a comma

123.45 Use numbers from numerical pad and full stop from alphabetical pad
Calc treats as label.

123,45 Use numbers from numerical pad and comma from alphabetical pad
Calc treats as number.

Can some one help in fixing this
Thank you

No one can answer / analyze that problem without knowing your locale. But most probably you have a language setting, which uses a , (comma) as decimal delimiter and this is being used when typing on the numerical keypad. Check Tools -> Options -> Language Settings -> Languages -> Locale setting. I’m pretty sure that your setting is the way Decimal separator key showing [x] Same as locale setting (,) (notice the coma in parenthesis). Change your locale accordingly.
