I have tried the work around suggested to no avail. Sometimes I can not use the copy and paste function.

Some days it seems to work fine. I have this problem on both Fedora and windows 10.

And what do you expect? Which workaround? For which procedure? What are you copying: text, tables, objects, …? What is your LO version?
