How do I locate endnote numbers throughout the Writer doc so that I don't have to scan the whole manuscript for them?

Hi, I imported a Writer doc that contained endnotes into InDesign, but the endnotes don’t sync to their reference numbers, so I have to enter the endnotes manually in my InDesign doc. I basically have them side by side. How do I go from one reference number to the quickly without having to scan entire chapters?

Clicking on the endnote number takes you to the link location and clicking on the link to the endnote takes you back to the endnote. Keep repeating down list
