Not able to ask "NEW" question in this forum

Hello,

I have had to create this second forum account because in my “normal” forum account when I go to “Ask Your Question” I am NOT presented with a blank slate to ask a new question but instead I am presented with the one (and only) question I have already posted as if I want to edit/modify that question.

I do NOT want to edit or modify this question but I want to post a NEW question.

By contrast, in this forum account I am able to post a “new” question.

How can I fix my “normal/preferred” forum account so that I can ask a new question (and not be presented with edit/modify an existing question)?

@fmellish: formally this is not a forum but a Question & Answer site. In a forum, you have a time-ordered sequence of uneditable conversation. Here, you ask a question and get answers ordered by relevance (which means their ordering can change) and you are limited to a single answer, implying you can (must?) edit your question or answer to add needed information.

Your question in not a common one (targeting LO usage) but a meta one related to the site.

Please retag your question. To exit retag mode, you must type a space and hit Enter twice. Yes, this site is driven by a very contorted engine.
