I have a document which crashes as it has a table in a footnote. After having discussion with Miklos he told to do it same as done for doc import.
In doc import the table in a footnote is converted into plain paragraph.
So I would like to do the same for tables in footnote for docx files.
Can you let me know what should be my starting point ?
Would it be a solution to first save the docx file as a doc and then open it in Writer?
No, as the file later needs to be opened in MSword 2010. If I save it as doc ,then while opening it back in MSWord 2010 may lead to some feature being deprecated. .
But when you open and edit the file in Writer you also run a risk of loosing some features.
You can first try the approach with a copy of your docx file.
Which advance features of WORD 2010 did you use?
