(Is this where I should be filing feature requests? If not, could someone point me to the right place?)
I seem to end up working with documents that have been emailed to me a lot. My email client (outlook) tends to save them as read-only when I open them.
It would be really great if I was allowed to do some things with the document without having to save my own copy. (For spreadsheets, I’d like to be able to sort the data, or change the page orientation for printing.) I’d be fine with some kind of warning indicator saying "hey, this is read-only, you’ll have to change your changes somewhere else. (Maybe overlay a warning icon on the “save” button?)
