Setting date format in query results

Hi,

LibreOffice Base won’t display date dd/mm/yyyy in result query

How can I set the date format to be displayed everywhere as dd/mm/yyyy ?

Hello,

Dates in the majority of databases are stored in the format of YYYY-MM-DD regardless of locale or personal choice. It is a standard. You can choose to display the format differently (won’t change the internal format) in the table edit. Select the field there and select the ellipsis at the right of the format example (lower section of table edit dialog). From there choose your format and save.

An example:

Table date displayed in top left corner; Query result in lower left corner; Table edit in upper right corner; Field format in lower right corner.

Now a change to the year:
