Comments in calc

Hi there ,

I am little bit new to linux. while working on calc , i don’t know what happened my file is taking comments in each new cell where i work. because of that my file size is increasing.

The comment are like. " ,08/07/2021 time 19:38:57 , cell a13317 changes from to 1"

and
" ,08/07/2021 time 19:40:57 , cell a13317 changes from 1 to ‘’"

and

" ,08/07/2021 time 19:40:57 , cell a13319 changes from ‘’ to ‘=d13317+d13320’ "

In every new cell where i am working and entering any data . automatically it adds a comment like the cell logs.

So. because of that my file size is increasing. Please help asap plzzz…

Hello,

most likely you inadvertently activated Track Changes feature. To disable:

• Untick option Edit -> Track Changes -> [ ] Record –or–
• CTRL+SHIFT+C (which probably was the shortcut you typed to activate)

PS: This is not specific to Linux
