Saving an edited style

Hi all.

This has been driving me batty for a good while and I can’t figure it out, I’m hoping someone here can put me out of my misery.

I have a particular way of formatting documents (line spacing, font etc. as opposed to headings, margins et al.).

The trouble I am having is that whenever I start a new document, I have to edit the style to my preference - it will only save for that document. Is there a way to make an edited style the default when I start a new document?

I have tried creating a new style but that won’t save either.

Thank you for reading, and I hope the above makes sense.

Steve

Create a template with the style(s) you need. If you want this as the default for all new documents, set it as the default template.
