I would like to crate a custom motion path so the object slides in from a specific angle. Goolgle searches say to add a custom animation, select motion paths, and then select free form. There is no free form option under motion paths for me. Was this removed in the latest version? Is there a way to get it back? I'm using 4.2.0.4 in Ubuntu

At least for existing effects there is "freeform path" or something (translated back from localised name). But I didn't find something similar for entering effects. So maybe it got lost somehow...

I think that something is broken. I updated to 4.2.2 to see if it fixed it and I still cannot find those options. I am also trying adjust the distance of a "left" motion path. The handle can be dragged but it does not save. If I preview, it has not changed the length. If I view another slide and then go back, the handle is back where it started.

But please write a bug report about this, if there isn't one. Hopefully it gets some attention.
