Before I invest in learning the database program, I have to know if I can import all my Filemaker .fp7 files. I know I can export these files as tab or comma delimited - .tab or .csv - plus a few others. What will Base accept?
You should be able to import your data tables (as .csv files exported from FM). But I doubt table relationships, forms and reports from FM can be so easily transferred. A commercial product called FMProMigrator might possibly do what you want (though I have not tried it).
It’s probably easier if you use a Calc spreadsheet as an intermediate source for you table imports into Base - see THIS DISCUSSION for more information.
