There seems to be a bug in Libreoffice that when Options-----Language settings-----Complex text layout-----General options and changed the numerals to Hindi, the numerals display in Arabic script.

I have gotten round the issue by changing the numerals type to System, instead of Hindi.

Hindi number digits are in the Unicode range U+0966 to U+096f [PDF]. Given font support, under Linux you can enter these via CTRL+SHIFT+U+<digits>. Other platforms will use a different key combination.

This is especially useful for those using QWERTY rather than InScript layout. Thanks for reporting.
